Term Dates for 2024
- The first day for students in 2024 is Thursday 1 February 2024
- Term 1 will run from 1 February until – until Friday 12 April (Note that Good Friday is the 29 March and Easter Monday 1 April)
- Term 2 – Wednesday 1 May – Friday 5 July
- Term 3 – Wednesday 24 July – Friday 27 September
- Term 4 – Tuesday 15 October – Wednesday 18 December *TBC
Please note that these dates maybe subject to change - please check the newsletter and facebook closer to the date for current information.
- Term 4 school are overdue for payment. If you haven't yet paid please do so.
- For those families that are in their last term at St Bede's please ensure that your fees are fully paid before the due date.
- BPAY is the recommended system for payment of school fees due to the lower charges. Please ensure you are using the new BPAY numbers. These details are found on the top right and bottom left of the emailed statements.
Last Day Tomorrow
Len Mutton and Co are the supplier of St Bede's Uniforms and they are currently taking orders for the Term 1 2024 school year. The due date for all orders is the December 8 after this day orders cannot be guaranteed. Their contact number is 48422446 and they are located in Wallace Street.
Also at St Bede's we have a 2nd hand Uniform Pool that is run by the Community Council and coordinated by a parent volunteer. It keeps a small supply of 2nd hand uniforms. Please note that as we rely on uniforms being donated that supply is limited and we do not have all sizes. If any families have uniforms that they are no longer using and would like to donate them to the uniform pool, please drop these into the office.

Our School Counsellor, Mari, will be visiting St Bede's on Fridays for the rest of this year. If you think your child would benefit from seeing a counsellor please complete the online referral form at https://catholiccare.force.com/housing/s/school-referral-form.
Mari's last day for 2023 will be Friday 8 December
Parents please note that St Bede's is a Nut Free school and as such the sharing of any food, lollies or confectionery is not encouraged, as we have several students that have severe reactions. Therefore Nutella, Peanut Butter and any other nut butters are strongly discouraged.
- Any children that are late to school, (after the morning bell) the parents need to sign the children in at the office.

- Unwell Students (Cough, runny nose, fever etc.) should be kept at home, to help prevent the spread of illness through the school. The school has a small supply of RATs should any families require some, please contact the office.
- Please keep contact details up to date, if your address has changed email the office. Compass can be used to change email and phone details. If these details aren't kept up to date it makes it very difficult for staff to contact parents in an emergency.
Children's Absences and Reports
Semester 2 reports will be published to Compass on 8 December, if you do not have a Compass login please contact the office via email for your details. We are unable to send paper copies home.
If you have recieved an email from the school because your child has been absent you are able to explain this absence through the Compass portal. There is no need to phone or email the school after doing the Compass notification.
For canteen to run at St Bede's we need at least two parent helpers for each week on the roster. If we do not have two volunteers then we are unable to have canteen and it will be cancelled for that week. Please refer to the below roster.
If canteen is cancelled then your child will need to bring their own lunch, as per a non canteen day. Please note that if canteen is cancelled and your child has an order, parents/carers will be contacted to provide lunch.
Any parents that are available to help canteen and have a couple of hours available on a Monday morning (Please see the roster for coming dates) please email the office.

Please note that any parents volunteering for canteen must have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). WWCC can be applied for through Service NSW (link) applying for a WWCC. Once you have received the clearance please send a copy of the email + your date of birth to the office as the clearances are checked.
