2025 Term Dates

Term 3 – Tuesday 22 July – Thursday 25 September
Term 4 – Tuesday 14 October – Thursday 18 December

If your child arrives at school after 8:55 am, a parent or responsible adult MUST sign the student in at the school office.
If you are coming into the school outside of drop off and pick up times you are required to report to the office and sign in. It is important that we have a record of all visitors to the school.

Please be mindful of what containers you send to school with your child. Please do not send ring pull cans (like the lids on small tuna cans etc.) or glass containers as these present a cutting hazard to children. Please open the can at home and place in a plastic container.

We would ask that soft drinks are not sent to school with your children as we do try to encourage a healthy alternative like water.
If your child is unwell, please place their absence through the Compass Parent Portal App. There is no need to then notify the office once you have placed it into the Compass app.

Term 3 School Fees are now OVERDUE for payment . This Terms fees were due to be paid by 15 August, unless you have a regular payment plan in place.

*NOTE: A Regular payment plan is a payment made weekly, fortnightly or monthly for a set amount.

Reminder emails and Debt letters will be going out in the next 2 weeks for any families who haven't finalised their fees for this term. Your invoice is on the Compass portal and prompt payment is appreciated.

For families who are making regular repayments - Thank you

Any families who are struggling to pay their fees are asked to contact the office to put arrangements in place.

For parents who wish to pay school fees by instalments please consider signing up for BPOINT, for set and forget payments from either your account or credit card. If you would like more information or would like to join up for BPOINT, please contact the office.

Library Days - Term 3

For Weeks 5-10

Wednesdays - Kinder, Years 2, 3 & 4
Thursdays - Years 1 & 5/6

Please remember to bring your library bag and any books to be returned on these days!

Unwell Students (Cough, runny nose, fever,vomiting,diarrhoea etc.) If your child is unwell please keep them at home. If your child has vomited the night before, please keep them at home, even if you think they are okay. The NSW Health guidelines suggest that students who have vomited and or diarrhoea should be kept at home for 48 hours to help prevent the spread of illness through the school. Please see the guideline from NSW Health regarding vomiting.

Council is looking for Senior Pool Attendants at our Braidwood and Bungendore pools for the summer season. Flexible work/part time arrangements and paid training will be considered for the right candidates.

If you have a Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Advanced First Aid Certificate and current NSW Working with Children Check, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently in the process of conducting interviews for Kinder 2026.

If you have a Kinder child turning 5 by July 31, 2026 and are considering sending them to St Bede's, or you know of a family that is interested in enrolling at St Bede's, please either contact the office for more information OR lodge an online application as soon as possible to ensure a position in Kinder.

St Bede's is a Nut Free school

St Bede's is a nut free school - This mean that students should not bring anything containing nuts to school, this includes Nutella, Peanut Butter and any other nut butters as we have several students who are highly allergic to these items.

The sharing of any food, lollies or confectionery is not encouraged.
