RE News
Hello Parents and Carers,
It has been a very busy fortnight at St Bede's!
Baby News
A special congratulations to the Hopkins Family (Sophia, Ava and Lucas) on the arrival of their newest member, Mahalia Grace.
First Holy Communion
On Saturday 18th November, our Year 3 students received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. The Mass was well attended by families and the wider community, and supper and cake was provided afterwards to celebrate the children's achievement. Again, a special thanks to Cathy Ffrench and Ann Tracy for supporting the students through their preparation, and also to Father Josh for presenting such a relatable Mass for our students.

Mini Mission Fete
Last week our Year 5/6s hosted the annual St Bede's Mini Mission Fete raising money for Catholic Mission. We are pleased to announce we raised $481.20 that will be donated to provide for the physical and spiritual needs of children, communities and Church leaders in Australia and around the world. Our Year 5 and 6 leaders did a wonderful job of organising and running the day, and the younger students (and teachers) had a great day participating in all of the fun activities. A special thank you to Mrs Tooth for supporting the children in their preparations, and to our amazing parents who purchased food, ice, water and lollies to enable the stalls to go ahead.

In Loving Memory
This week we keep the Corey Family (Isla and Lily), in our prayers as they mourn the loss of their grandmother, Deborah Stinson.
Eternal Rest
Eternal rest grant unto her,
O Lord,
and let the perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace.
Amen
Upcoming Events
We have confirmed the time for our End of Year Thanksgiving Liturgy occurring next Thursday 7th December. The liturgy will begin at 1:45pm at St Bede's Church. During the Liturgy our generously donated hamper items will be presented to St Vincent De Paul and our current Year 6 students will handover leadership to our Year 5 students. We look forward to celebrating this event with parents, families and parishioners.
