Northern Region and Archdiocese Swimming

Last Thursday, St Bede’s sent a squad of 25 students to a very hot Boorowa to compete in the rescheduled NR Swimming carnival. Our children were fantastic on the day, showing great determination with their swimming, and excellent sportsmanship and team spirit. Our relay teams started the day off well, with a first placing, two seconds and a third! Congratulations to Hamish (Senior Boys) and Charlotte (Intermediate Girls) who were named Age Champions; and Jolyon (Intermediate Boys) who was runner up Age Champion. Overall, 15 students qualified to represent the Northern Region at the Archdiocesan championships, held on Monday back in Boorowa. Congratulations to the Junior Boys relay team of Leo, Luca, Jake and Teddy who placed 2nd and will now head to the MacKillop Championships in Sydney. What an outstanding effort boys! We wish you the best of luck in a few weeks.
