Sacramental Program
Our Year 5/6 students have been busy participating in preparation sessions for the Sacramental program for Confirmation. We thank Mrs Cathy Ffrench, Mrs Ann Tracey and Mr Bob Fletcher for supporting our students in their ongoing faith development. We invite families to join us at Mass at 5pm on Saturday 14th September to support these children. Please keep these children in your prayers as they prepare.

Father’s Day
Today we held our annual Father’s Day breakfast and prayer celebration. It was a lovely morning, and we are grateful to all the fathers, grandfathers and special people who were able to join us. We thank you for the love and care you show our students. We wish you all a happy day on Sunday!

Grandparents and Special Friend’s Day
St Bede’s invites our Grandparents and Special Friend’s to join us on Friday 13, September (Week 8) for a special celebration. We will gather for a prayer celebration in the school hall at 12:30pm, followed by lunch with your grandchildren in the playground (BYO). There will be ‘old fashioned’ games for the young and young at heart – quoits, hopscotch and hula hoop races. Our Kinder – Year 3 classrooms will be open for you to explore. The day will conclude with our weekly awards ceremony at 2pm. We hope to see you there!

Prayer for Father’s Day

Thank you God for your gift of fathers and fatherly figures. On this special day, let us remember the prayer Jesus prayed to his father;

Our Father,

who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

thy kingdom come;

thy will be done on earth,

as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.
