Northern Region Athletics
The Northern Region Athletics carnival was held on Friday of Week 8 in Goulburn. What a fantastic day it was! Our students showed outstanding behaviour and sportsmanship and enjoyed competing in the variety of events on offer. Thank you as always to our supportive parents and grandparents who assisted at the finish line, assisted me with supervision and ensured that students made it to events on time! We appreciate your continued support.
Congratulations to Josie (2nd 12yrs shot put), Charlie H (1st 11yrs long jump), James (3rd 11yrs high jump) and Elliot (3rd 8yrs 100m) who have gained selection in the Northern Region team to compete in the Archdiocesan championships next term in Canberra.
Footy Tipping
With only 9 rounds remaining in the season, the competition remains very close at the top of the leaderboard. At this stage it looks as though anyone in the top ten is in with a shot at the title!
The leaderboard after round 17 is:
  1. Buschi33   - 79 points
  2. Green Machine Haraldson - 78 points
  3. = Buzz - 75 point, BeckThiso - 75 points, TimThiso - 75 points
Boorowa Touch & Netball Carnival
It’s back again! St. Bede’s will once again attend the Boorowa Touch and Netball Carnival on Friday 24th October 2025 (Week 2, Term 4). A notice was placed on Compass this week for this event. Students from Years 2-6 are able to attend, and can play either touch or netball, not both. Please complete your nomination, consent and payment by Friday 8th August (Week 3, Term 3).
