Snail Races at St Bede’s

There was much excitement as the annual Snail Races were run in perfect racing conditions on Tuesday. A huge number of snails and trainers participated in the heats, with one winner from each class moving on to the final.

Congratulations to Isla (Yr 2) on winning this year’s St Bede’s Snail Race Cup! Her very speedy snail edged out Isabella (Yr 6) and Leo (Yr 1) to take the trophy.
