Dear Parents,

A special hello to you, our parents here at St. Bede’s School.

I’m very happy to be here and I am looking forward to meeting you at some time hopefully in the near future. My role is Religious Education Coordinator and I have the privilege of teaching Year 4. I have taught across three dioceses and in many rural schools of varying sizes. What a beautiful school is St. Bede’s and what beautiful children we have at our school. I’m looking forward to my time here and helping support our children’s learning, wellbeing and faith development.

Whom Shall I Send

In the Gospel last weekend we hear about the story of Jesus going out onto the lake with Simon. They cast out their fishing nets and gathered a huge amount of fish. There was enough to fill two boats. Jesus asks us to be fishers of people. He asks whom shall I send. We can say I’m here Lord. Send me.

Here I Am, Lord
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night
I will go, Lord
If You lead me
I will hold Your people in my heart.
