RE News and Prayer
As we continue to journey along in Lent we come to two special saints’ days this week. We look at the model of St. Patrick and St. Joseph to help us and inspire us to look out for others less fortunate than ourselves. We also focus on “Bullying No Way” day on Friday. As we combine our thinking and praying, it’s a good time to reach out to others in need. We have a mufti day on Friday 18th March. The students are able to wear casual clothes and we ask for a gold coin donation which will go to NSW and Queensland flood victims. This is a very positive way to put our faith into action during Lent.
Our church in Braidwood is open again. There has been considerable work done to the roof and a thorough clean of the inside has been completed. It is open each day and you are welcome to make a visit at any time. It offers a quiet space in our busy lives.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and thank you for your donation to our outreach project.
