Prayer

In the month of May we focus our thoughts on Mary, Jesus’ mother. It is the month that we honour her and reflect on her life and the important role she had in raising Jesus. “The Hail Mary” is a well known prayer for us to say. While saying this prayer we focus on a special intention we might have. The “Hail Mary” is the main prayer in the Rosary.

Let us say it now together.

Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God
Prayer for us sinners now and at the hour of death
Amen

Religious Life at St. Bede’s

In Week 5 we are working towards having our first whole school Mass for the year. It will depend upon Fr. Mick’s approval when he returns this weekend from his trip. I will pass more details onto you when it has been confirmed. Our theme for the Mass will be the celebration of St. Bede’s feast day which is on 25th May. On Wednesday 25th we will have our school celebration. Also that week on Thursday we acknowledge “Sorry Day” and Reconciliation week that follows.
