RE News and Prayer
In two weeks time our Year 3 catholic students will be making their First Reconciliation. This will be followed by their First Eucharist program (First Holy Communciation) which will conclude by the students making their First Eucharist at the parish Mass on Saturday 17, September at 6 pm.
Please pray for these children and their families as they prepare and receive these two special sacraments.

Next Monday 8, August is Mary Mackillop's feast day. We will take time on Monday to reflect on St Mary of the Cross and the role she played in forming the sisters of St Joseph. Her contribution to the education of rural children was life changing for them.
On 15, August we celebrate the Assumption of Mary. Like Jesus, her body and soul were taken to heaven.
Let us pray for those in our community who are suffering. May God care for them in their time of need.
