We had a lovely gathering last Saturday evening in the church where we celebrated First Reconciliation.

We congratulate Josie, Reece, Samuel and Tyrone on their First Reconciliation. Many thanks to Mrs Barling who prepared the children. After receiving the sacrament the children received their certificates from Mrs Gorham and their cross from Ms Crispen. The final part of the celebration involved the children lighting a candle. The children now move into their preparation for their First Holy Communion (First Eucharist) which will be celebrated on Saturday 17th September.

We also celebrated the Assumption on Monday. Our staff prayer focused on Mary and her role in Jesus’ life and her death. She was taken to heaven body and soul. The Hail Mary is a powerful prayer and as we prayed, our intention was for the children at our school.
